2026 IT Bag

Designed by James Norton
RobertJames

In 2008, a legendary fashion house unveiled the Himalayan Crocodile, a finish that would become one of the most coveted in the world. Since then, maisons across the globe have offered their interpretations of that ethereal palette. Now, for the first time, RobertJames reveals ours: The Sierra Crocodile.

As an American luxury house, we sought inspiration not from distant peaks, but from our own breathtaking landscape. Named after the Sierra Nevada Mountains, the Sierra finish captures the quiet majesty of a snow-dusted summit—soft greys, delicate taupes, and gentle earthy browns emerging like sculpted stone beneath fresh powder. It is nature’s poetry, rendered in the world’s most exquisite Niloticus crocodile.

This year’s It Bag is the epitome of heritage craftsmanship. Handcrafted in the United States by master artisans, it features jewelry-like platinum-tone hardware that gleams with understated sophistication. The versatile chain allows for multiple expressions of wear—short shoulder, long shoulder, or effortless crossbody—ensuring timeless elegance for every occasion.

Classic. Iconic. Heirloom.

The 2026 It Bag is more than a handbag—it is the embodiment of true American luxury and artistry. A piece created not to follow history, but to make it.
