Positive Parenting Program (Triple P)
The Triple P – Positive Parenting Program is a multi-level system of parenting and family support interventions. Our Staff helps families set their own goals, identify the changes they would like to see in their child’s behavior and works with the families to choose the strategies that will fit in with their family life. The program was developed by Professor Matt Sanders and his colleagues from the Parenting and Family Support Centre in the School of Psychology at the University of Queensland and is based on over 25 years of research. Triple P aims to prevent behavioral, emotional and developmental problems in children by enhancing the knowledge, skills and confidence of parents. Triple P Teen is designed specifically to address the needs of today’s teenagers. Triple P is funded through the Children’s Services Council of Palm Beach County (CSC).
- Triple P is provided to parents and families in their home, community, and office setting in English, Spanish and Creole.
- Teen Triple P is specifically designed for families needing strategies to change the behaviors of their teenagers.
- There are no fees for service.
