Alana Stewart is an actress, host, author and spokesperson. She began her career by  heading to New York to become a Ford model. Soon she began her acting career appearing on such popular TV series as: The Love Boat, Evil Knievel, Fantasy Island, The Bionic Woman, Hart to Hart, The Fall Guy and Masquerade.  Alana’s film roles include: Allan Carr’s Where the Boys Are, Jonathan Demme’s Swing Shift, and the mini series Small Sacrifices, and many other independent films.

Alana hosted the popular talk show The George and Alana Show with ex-husband, George Hamilton. Later, she appeared on the reality show I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here and Celebrity Wife Swap. Her own reality show, Stewarts and Hamiltons, appeared on E in 2015 and she has appeared on almost all major talk shows and news outlets including Access Hollywood, eXtra, The View, Wendy Williams, Bill O’Reilly, and Barbara Walters to name a few.

In 2007, Alana began working with her dear friend, Farrah Fawcett on Farrah’s Story, a documentary of Farrah’s courageous battle with cancer which Alana filmed and produced. In 2009, Farrah’s Story debuted on NBC to a record-breaking audience and was nominated for an Emmy Award.  As President and CEO of The Farrah Fawcett Foundation, which funds cancer research and promotes prevention and awareness, Alana continues to raise money for HPV- related cancer research and education. Under her leadership, the FFF has funded such institutions as UCLA, Vanderbilt, Brown, Harvard, Duke University as well as creating two translational research teams for HPV-related cancer through a collaboration with Stand Up To Cancer.

As an author, Alana’s first book, My Journey With Farrah: A Story of Life, Love and Friendship, debuted at #9 on the New York Times best seller list, followed by a successful memoir, Rearview Mirror.

Alana received the prestigious Genii Award from the American Women in Radio and Television for excellence in documentary filmmaking for Farrah’s Story.  She was honored by The John Wayne Cancer Institute  with the ‘True Grit’ Humanitarian Award and also by The Beckstrand Cancer Foundation for her contribution to the cancer community.   She is mother to Kimberly, Sean, and Ashley and grandmother to Delilah and Willow.
