Dear friends and supporters,

As we enter Child Abuse Prevention Month, I want to express my deepest gratitude for your unwavering support of the Center’s mission. With your help, we work to create a world where every child feels safe, loved, and empowered to reach their full potential.

Each April, we observe this month as a powerful reminder of the stark reality faced by millions of children across the country. Child abuse remains a pervasive issue, impacting countless lives and leaving lasting scars. Yet, in the face of this challenge, there’s also immense hope.

The Center provides a wide range of services designed to prevent child abuse before it occurs, identify and end it when it does occur, and help the survivors lead normal lives as they recover from the abuse. For over 25 years, the S.A.F.E Kids program at the Center for Family Services has been helping children and their families that have experienced child abuse in hopes of changing the cycle and promoting a healthy future. Please consider donating to support our work.

But the work doesn’t stop at our doors. This April, I encourage you to join us in building hopeful futures for all children:

  • Spread awareness by talking to your friends and family about child abuse prevention and the resources available (see the links below). You can also share this email with a friend or acquaintance.
  • If you are an employer, create a safe and supportive environment for children and families by promoting policies and practices that prioritize their well-being.
  • Advocate for laws and policies that protect children from abuse and neglect.
  • Support the Center for Family Services of Palm Beach County in our work to help children and families heal from the trauma of abuse.

By working together, we can create a safer and brighter future for every child.

Thank you for standing with us.

Center for Family Services has been providing mental health services and education to children, adults and families since 1961. Our clients are some of the most vulnerable in the community due to their age, gender, and socioeconomic status. Donations are a crucial means to their mental well-being. On their behalf, thank you for your support.
