Dear Friends,

Over the last year, we have all been tested by the COVID-19 pandemic, which threatened so much of what we hold most dear—our families. I am immensely proud of the Center for Family Services of Palm Beach County’s staff for providing our family members the treatment they needed to heal from their trauma through all of this. Services immediately pivoted to telehealth and a drive-up window was created for face to face sessions. They gave hope of healing to the community in which we live, play and work.

With your support, Center for Family Services was at the forefront of our community’s pandemic response and played a vital role in ensuring our neighbors continued to be well-served. This response has changed people’s lives and provided many opportunities to move beyond the pandemic into a healthier, more independent day to day. In addition, Center for Family Services has emerged stronger than ever because of the support of our Board of Directors, staff, and funders who helped us weather this unimaginable, volatile, and still uncertain time.

We serve our clients, both insured and uninsured, with a commitment to quality services. Licensed as a community mental health provider by the Department of Children and Family Services, accredited at the Excellence level by Nonprofits First, and accredited by the Council on Accreditation this past year, shows how the Center continues to prove that after 60 years of service to the residents of Palm Beach County, their practices meet and exceed the highest standards placed before them. We remain steadfast in our mission to build healthier and stronger families as we prepare for our next phase of the Center’s strategic planning process. Our focus is to develop and implement a strategic plan that supports the evolution of the Center’s future for the next 60 years. I can assure you that our senior leadership team and the Board of Directors are both working hard to ensure that the future of the Center is strong and steady.

Serving our community with high-quality mental health care, education, and social support that so many have relied on for decades is possible thanks to our devoted community partners – local organizations, foundations, and donors like you – who we count on for support. We are so thankful to those who stand by Center for Family Services now and always. We greatly appreciate your generosity, your partnership, your donations, and your friendship.

Warm Regards,

Karen Swanson
Board Chair
