Sonny is the Founder and President of The Maken Group, Inc. He graduated from Georgetown University, in Washington D.C., with a degree in International Economics and a concentration in International Finance and Commerce. He also earned an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Sonny is the Past President of the Commercial Alliance and the former member of the Board of Directors of Florida Association of Realtors and the Greater Fort Lauderdale Realtors Association. He is also a member of the Georgetown Club of Palm Beach and the Kellogg Alumni Association.
Known for his expertise in the real estate space, Sonny has made frequent appearances in the South Florida Business Journal, Daily Business Review, City and Shore Magazine, Palm Beach Post and the South Florida Sun Sentinel newspapers. Sonny previously served as the CEO of First Serve USA, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving children from economically challenged neighborhoods. He was also featured in the Powers for Good issue of City & Shore magazine, highlighting CEO’s with deep non-profit experience and involvement.
An effective communicator, Sonny has been the featured keynote speaker at business events and has participated in numerous panel discussions with political and business leaders.
Sonny is also the past winner of the 40 under 40 award from South Florida Business Journal and the 40 under 40 award from Real Estate Forum Magazine.
