Mobile Therapist – Counseling for Parents and Young Children (CPYC)
Center for Family Services of Palm Beach County is seeking to hire a mobile therapist to work with children and families in their homes through a CSC Mental Health Program. Preference will be given to candidates who are bilingual (English/Spanish). This position will involve the therapist to work with young children (0-5) and their families in their homes. Candidates applying for this position must have a Master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work or related social service field, and candidates who are licensed in the State of Florida will also be given preference. Candidates must be trained in one or more of the following evidenced-based therapy models: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Play Therapy, Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), and must be able to learn and implement the Partners for Change Outcome Management System (PCOMS), the Healthy Beginnings System (HBDS), and the agency’s electronic health record. Must have excellent time management and client engagement skills, be flexible, computer literate and able to document to the highest professional standards required by all funders via electronic health records.
